Iain attended the University of Natal where he read for and obtained a Bachelor of Arts and LL.B. Iain joined Goodrickes in 1982 and has been a partner since 1985. He specialises in commercial, civil, labour and education law. He is also a Conveyancer and has right of appearance in the High Court.
Aidan Maurice Fayle Partner
Aidan attended the University of Natal where he read for and obtained a Bachelor of Arts and LL.B. as well as a PG Dip (Taxation) and is a Notary Public. Aidan commenced his articles at the firm in 1987, returned in 1992, and he has been a partner for over 18 years. He specialises in all areas of the law of succession, such as drafting of wills and administration of estates.
Lizl CoppejansPartner
Lizl attended the University of Pretoria where she read for and obtained her LL.B. (Cum Laude). She further attended the University of Leiden, where she obtained her LL.M. in European and International Business Law. She joined Goodrickes as an associate in 2012 and specialises in family, civil and commercial law. She also acts as a correspondent for various attorneys across South Africa. Lizl is an accredited Mediator, having obtained accreditation from the Centre for Dispute Resolution (CEDR) in the United Kingdom and is a Trustee of the Durban Botanic Gardens Trust.
Thobani ManqelePartner
Thobani attended the University of KwaZulu Natal where he read for and obtained a LL.B. He joined the firm in 2013 as a candidate attorney and has stayed on as an associate. He became a partner in 2017 and specialises in asset foreclosures and debt recovery proceedings.
Kathryn-Ann MarounAssociate
Kathryn-Ann attended the then University of Natal, in Durban, where she read for and obtained a B.A. degree followed by an LL.B. degree. She was admitted as an Attorney in 1995 and as a Conveyancer in 2000. She joined Goodrickes during 2019 as an Associate and she specializes in Conveyancing and other Property related matters.
Nosipho Zulu Candidate Attorney
Nosipho attended the University of South Africa where she read for and obtained a LL.B. She was an active member of the Black Lawyers Association whilst at university. In 2019, she joined Goodrickes as a Candidate Attorney. Nosipho has a keen interest in property law, family law and construction law.
Sharon Hablutzel Office Manager
Sharon joined the accounts department of Goodrickes in 1992. In 2015 she became the office manager.
Support Staff
The firm has a support staff of 13 people which includes legal secretaries, bookkeepers, messengers and conveyancing paralegals. They assist the professional staff to provide the best possible service to all our clients.
